So if I understand correctly you want to display an image preview of the Slab in your Schedule?
If so, this is not possible to do, not even in ARCHICAD 19.

Hi everyone!

I have a problem with windows shutters not showing in Windows Schedule: it is interesting because the shutters are visible in List elements. Since I'cant put dimensions or any extra details in list, I would prefer to solve problem in Schedule.

We work in Archicad 19, INT, and I've attached some images...

Thank you in advance!

Yes, currently only GDL-based element types can have 2D symbols/3D Axonometry, etc. displayed in Schedules.
Currently these include the following Tools:
-Door
-Window
-Corner Window
-Skylight
-Object
-Stair
-Lamp
-Wall End

What I can think of is the old Listing and the current Interactive Schedule are two different developments so they are working differently. Maybe this is the reason the list displays the Sunshade and the Interactive Schedule doesn't.

It is possible to show/hide parts of a window/door in a schedule with a bit of GDL scripting.

See... http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=35888

In your case the sunshade is probably scripted not to show in a schedule.
In the ideal world there would be a parameter in the object to allow you to show the sunshade in schedules or not.
I am guessing that your object does not have this option so unless you are handy with a bit of GDL coding I think you are stuck.

Barry.

hm, haven't try the coding yet. But if I manage to pull this out - that means after tweaking one library I'll have to copy it on all the computers in the offices?

On the funny side: the question asked 5 years ago was as well from Zagreb. It seams we have a thing with window shades Laughing

If it is a Graphisoft library part then it gets a bit more complicated.
Because in future they may issue a new updated library and you will lose any modifications you made.
All the macros in GS objects will add another layer of complexity too.

So you will want to "save as" the object with a new name and then use that in your projects.
It could be in the 'Embedded' library in which case all users opening that file will have it already.
Or you could place it in an 'Office' or 'Project" library that you need to update on every machine or have it on the network so that all machines can access that one library.

Barry.

The library part is the original Graphisoft library part. I have to think a bit on how to proceed with this.

Thank you all!

ARCHICAD 20 has been announced so I can tell you that in ARCHICAD 20 every 3D element type will have a preview that can be displayed in Schedules, not only GDL-based element types. There will be 3 options: 2D Cross Section Preview, 2D Plan Preview and 3D Axonometry.

Interactive schedule for labels only

I have a DWG from autocad imported into my PLN. It has lots of restaurant equipment (2D blocks only). I would like to point to each piece of equipment with a letter, then add some text (like the name of the piece, voltage and or plumbing requirement, etc). It would be great if I could then use the schedules to pull that information out, total the number of individual units, and generate a schedule that I could update.

I can't figure out a way to do this with the labels included in AC. Can I even generate a schedule with labels only? Don't want to recreate each piece of equipment....this needs to be quick and dirty otherwise I might as well do it the old fashioned way.....one dumb piece at a time typed into a schedule created with row and columns with lines.

Thanks.

Eduardo:
Thanks for the quick reply. That's close, but I need to be able to add text within the label, and have that information show up on the schedule. Perhaps as custom text as in some of the other labels.

That label, with the capacity to add several columns of custom text, is what I'm looking for. I need to add things such as the name of the equipment, voltage, etc. that don't show up on the label in the drawing. Or did I miss something with your label?

That will work. Not quite the way I envisioned, but close enough. Thanks.
